To consider Planning Applications received (attached). An updated list will be issued on Friday 15 February 2019 (if applicable).

Additional documents:

Minutes:

The Committee reviewed applications received up until 15 February 2019.

Discussion took place regarding application reference CB/19/00095 (274 Grasmere Way, Linslade). It was felt that the enclosure of green space by way of a wall would be contrary to the original design of the estate and detrimental to the visual amenity of the street scene.

RESOLVED to recommend to Central Bedfordshire Council that objection be made to application reference CB/19/00095 (274 Grasmere Way, Linslade) on the grounds that enclosure of green amenity land would be contrary to the original design of the estate and detrimental to the visual amenity of the street scene.

Discussion took place regarding application reference CB/19/00141 (land at corner of Stoke Road and Old Linslade Road).  The Committee agreed that whilst it had no objection to the car boot sale running April to September as previously agreed, there were concerns about the potential extension beyond this period. Concerns included access onto a busy road, the potential for mud on the road and the fact that the area was not well lit.

RESOLVED to recommend to Central Bedfordshire Council that objection be made to application reference CB/19/00141 (land at corner of Stoke Road and Old Linslade Road) on the grounds of concerns regarding vehicular access and highway safety.

RESOLVED to recommend to Central Bedfordshire Council that no objection be made to the following planning applications:
